We have all probably done jigsaw puzzles as children or adults and used both visual cues and trial and error processing to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Some puzzles are very simple, while others are 1000 pieces. For most of us, our lives have become much more complicated and are closer to the complex puzzle.
How do we put the puzzle together?
Some of us will start from the outside because we have straight sided pieces that we know will create a border that gets us going. Other people think from the inside out because they can visualize pieces that are similarly colored or shapes that just go together. Either way, we use the basic skills we feel comfortable with to try and complete the puzzle.
As time goes by, we seem to gather more acquisitions, have more To Do’s and are inundated both with physical and electronic information that we feel we need to manage.
